Pittsburgh Urban Farm Tour

September 8th, 2018 10:00am - 5:00pm

We are proud to participate in the 2018 Pittsburgh Urban Farm Tour! Our farm is one of 14 community spaces that will be open from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, September 8th. Bike or drive on this self-guided tour throughout Pittsburgh.

Urban farms like ours have a significant impact on the food system, local
economy, and urban environment. We turn vacant spaces into community hubs that provide education and access to fresh healthy food, and our success requires resources and capital. Please purchase a farm tour ticket today and help support our work! Proceeds from the event provide an honorarium for our farm and support a new Urban Growers Scholarship.

Event registration kicks off at the East End Food Co-op (7516 Meade Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15208) at 9:30 am where ticket holders can pick up an official tour guide and map, buy a commemorative t-shirt, and sample local foods before heading out on their self-guided tour.

Farms will be open to receive visitors between 10 am and 5 pm. A post-tour happy hour will take place at East End Brewing Company Brewpub (147 Julius Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206) from 5 pm to 7:30 pm, with a portion of proceeds going to the Urban Growers Scholarship.

Tickets for the Pittsburgh Urban Farm Tour are available at:
https://pghfarmtour2018.eventbrite.com. Admission is $15; kids age 12 and under are free.
