Medicine Making from Your Garden with Cutting Root Farm and Apothecary

June 24th, 2017 10:00am - 11:00pm

As our gardens are bursting with the vibrant colors of the summer, it’s time to enjoy the fruit of our labors!  We’ll discuss sustainable growing and harvesting practices, the medicinal properties and constituents of various species, and how to use these plants to aid in healing the body, mind, and spirit.  We will practice making fresh and dried teas, tinctures, flower essences, salves, and syrups from the medicinal herbs you grow.  We’ll cover specific medicinal uses of all the plants and give growing tips, because it’s never too late to start your herb garden.
