Container Gardening with Jessica Walliser

June 10th, 2017 11:00am - 1:00pm
While concrete pots are gorgeous, they're also incredibly heavy. Join horticulturist, Jessica Walliser for a workshop on how to build your own DIY container that looks like concrete but is actually much lighter. These incredible and beautiful alternative concrete planters are created from a mix of materials called Hypertufa. It's far lighter and just as weather-proof. And frankly, making hypertufa planters is really fun! It's kind of like making mud pies. Plus, once you see how attractive these planters are, making them becomes addictive.

Jessica will demonstrate how to make this unique planter, give you tips on sourcing the materials for it and give you instructions from her new book, due out later this fall, on how to make your own hypertufa planter! And if this busy gardener has time- she hopes to have a completed planter ready for one lucky workshop participant to win in a raffle.

To enter the raffle and register for this workshop CLICK HERE.  We look forward to seeing you!
